Free easily customizable bag pattern

Be sure to read this post, so you don't miss the options you have for this VERY cute and functional bag pattern.  Emmaline Bags has created this "retreat bag" and given us the pattern in two different sizes. The links/resources for the frames are on that website. However, you do not have to use the frames to make this bag.

Laura Coia has made this pattern even better, by creating a video tutorial and showing us how to add handles and pockets!

I love this bag pattern. I have never made a bag with frames, but after seeing how easy it is on Laura's tutorial, I am going to try it!

This pattern can be adapted to any season or occasion, simply by changing the fabric or embroidery design. The staff at Pfaff has included a free machine embroidery download for this particular quilted table topper. If you don't have an embroidery machine, you can just use a complimentary piece of fabric, or may some applique, in place of the embroidered section. Enjoy!
